Meet Hoku Zuttermeister, a talented musician and vocalist from Kaneohe, born into a Hawaiian family legacy of hula and music excellence!

Hoku's artistic journey began with traditional hula dancing at a young age, followed by self-taught mastery of the ukulele, guitar, and bass in intermediate school. His voice is a remarkable instrument, boasting a deep resonating tone and soaring falsetto highs, showcasing his incredible vocal range and dedication to his craft.

A testament to his hard work and talent, Hoku is an 8-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner, solidifying his position as a leading voice in Hawaiian Music. Join us for a captivating performance by this exceptional artist, as he shares his passion and gift with us!

Meet Maria Kanehailua, a talented singer/guitarist and loving mother of two, who calls Kaneohe home!

Originally from Kailua, Maria's passion for music began with hula dancing as a teenager, and soon evolved into singing and playing the guitar. Now, she shoes her soulful voice and skillful guitar playing with audiences around O'ahu, including here at Cafe Kalawe, in Kaneohe, and even in Waikiki!

Join us for an intimate performance by Maria, as she weaves her love of music, family and community into every note. We're thrilled to have her share her talents with us!
